Committed to a sustainable industrial future

Founded in 2022, we are an innovative sustainable iron company, with our first flagship plant to be located in Fos-sur-Mer, in the south of France.

The steel sector is responsible for 8% of the global energy demand and 8% of the energy sector CO₂ emissions (including process emissions) – making it one of the largest carbon emitting industries.

At GravitHy, our mission is to meet the growing demand for eco-friendly iron and steel. We are fully committed to reducing emissions from the steel industry by producing and utilizing low-carbon and renewable hydrogen to manufacture decarbonized Direct Reduced Iron (DRI).

This DRI/HBI may then be used locally, nationally or traded globally as decarbonized Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI), to be used for producing decarbonized steel.

A company launched by a world-class consortium.

GravitHy was founded through a collaborative effort and a shared exchange of skills.
